Night Shift RN – Medical/Surgical Unit
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced RN for its Medical/Surgical unit specializing in colorectal and bariatric patient care. This is a 16-week night shift contract in Rochester, NY.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
- 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
- Must work a minimum of 1 holiday during the contract
- Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
- Flexibility with facility scheduling needs is essential
Requirements
- Active New York RN License
- AHA BLS certification
- 2+ years acute hospital experience
- 1+ recent year in medical/surgical or telemetry
- Non-U.S. candidates must have 2+ years U.S. work history
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Clinical Focus
You'll care for medical/surgical patients, including those undergoing colorectal and bariatric procedures. Charge nurse experience is preferred but not required.

- Guaranteed 112 contract hours
