CT Technologist — Travel Contract | Des Moines, IA
This 13-week contract brings you into a busy CT department serving patients across all age groups in an acute care setting. The unit handles a high volume of diagnostic and interventional CT imaging, including stroke imaging protocols and trauma cases.
Schedule
- Days, Monday–Friday
- 3x12-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
- 36 hours/week
- Holiday rotation required (1–2 winter holidays if the unit is open)
- Float coverage across multiple campuses required
Clinical Scope
- CT imaging for all age groups
- Contrast administration and power injection
- Stroke imaging and trauma-level CT experience
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of CT/Computed Tomography experience (hospital setting preferred)
- ARRT (CT) certification
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- Active Iowa radiology license (highly preferred; licensing candidates considered with 1–3 week turnaround)
- Recent stroke imaging experience
- Experience with contrast and power injection
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with GE CT equipment
- Power injection contrast injector experience
- Recent trauma CT experience
Additional Details
- Scrub color: Charcoal gray
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
