ICU

Pediatric Float ICU RN | Atlanta, GA | Days | Weekend Block

This travel position is based at a pediatric specialty hospital in Atlanta, GA, with a float requirement across two campuses. Nurses in this role rotate through multiple critical care environments, including the PICU, NICU, Cardiac ICU (CICU), Trauma/Critical Care ICU (TDICU), and general or specialty care areas as needed.

Shift Details

• Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 12-hour shifts, 3 days/week
• Weekend block: Friday–Sunday
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation: Thanksgiving or Christmas (based on need)
• Missed shifts must be made up
• Guaranteed 36 hours/week

Contract

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 30, 2026

Required Experience & Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CICU and NICU, in addition to PICU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Active Georgia or compact RN license required

Additional Requirements

• Nicotine-free facility; drug screening required
• Flu vaccine is mandatory — no exceptions or exemptions
• Comfort floating across multiple campuses and care settings

This role is well-suited for experienced pediatric critical care nurses who are confident across a broad range of neonatal, cardiac, and general pediatric ICU environments and thrive in a dynamic, multi-unit float capacity.
