Emergency Department RN — Roanoke, VA

Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM | Contract: 13 weeks | Guaranteed Hours: 36/week

This freestanding emergency department in Roanoke, VA is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a travel contract. The unit manages a broad range of patients across high and low acuity presentations, with a clinical scope that includes medication administration, lab coordination, and care for critically ill patients.

Unit Details:

• Day shift staffing includes RNs, mid-level providers, and an EMT
• Clinicians must be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a small, close-knit team
• No float requirement

Required Qualifications:

• Prior Emergency Department nursing experience
• Ability to manage critically ill patients
• Active certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC
• ENPC certification preferred

Schedule & Expectations:

• 4 weekend shifts per schedule block
• No on-call requirement

Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
