Assignment Details

The facility's OR performs a diverse range of surgical procedures including orthopedic, general surgery, spine/neuro, gynecology, and urology cases. You'll work in a 4-OR surgical suite with a staffing model of 1 RN, 1 Surgical Technician, and 1 First Assist per room.

Position Overview

This is a 13-week contract role working 4 x 10-hour days, with shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM. The position guarantees 36 hours per week.

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to scrub or first assist
  • Willingness to take call
  • Valid Virginia license
  • BLS certification
  • Scheduling flexibility preferred
  • Team player mentality

Scheduling

You'll work rotating weekends and participate in daily call with other surgical staff. This is an operational necessity for maintaining surgical coverage.

Dress Code

Standard OR attire and scrubs required.
