Respiratory Therapist – NICU

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for its NICU respiratory program. This is a 13-week contract assignment working nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.

Clinical Scope

You'll provide respiratory care to neonatal patients requiring advanced ventilatory support and non-invasive therapies. Your responsibilities include managing CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, bubble CPAP, and mechanical ventilation. You'll work alongside a skilled team of nurses, respiratory therapists, and support staff in a unit equipped with modern respiratory technology.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience
• NICU experience is required — you must demonstrate proficiency with neonatal-specific modalities and protocols
• Current RRT certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP preferred (can be obtained after hire)
• All black scrubs

Schedule & Contract Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Hours: 36 hours per week (three 12-hour shifts)
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Start: November 30, 2026
• Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
