SICU Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced ICU Nurse for a 13-week contract in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). You'll work nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a dynamic team providing high-acuity care to post-surgical and critically ill patients.
Unit Details
What We're Looking For
- Required: Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Required: Solid ICU experience
- Preferred: Surgical or post-operative nursing background
You should be a collaborative, team-focused clinician who thrives in a fast-paced critical care environment.
Schedule & Logistics
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (nights)
- Weekends: Every other weekend; no on-call
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs
- Float Pool: May float throughout the facility as needed
- Location: Salem, VA
No certifications beyond ACLS/BLS required.
