Operating Room RN – Fredericksburg, VA

Position Overview

The facility's operating room is seeking an experienced RN to join the surgical team. You'll support a diverse caseload across multiple specialties in a dynamic OR environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hospital experience required
• Active Virginia RN license at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Scrub tech and First Assist certifications preferred

The Role

You'll work day shift (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) in a 4-room OR performing and assisting with procedures including:

• General and gynecologic surgery
• Orthopedic and neuro spine procedures
• ENT and pediatric dental cases
• Robotic-assisted surgeries

Floating to endoscopy is possible if you have relevant experience.

Schedule & Contract

• 4 x 10 hour days per week
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• 13-week contract
• Start date: November 16, 2026
• Scrubs provided

What We're Looking For

A detail-oriented, adaptable RN comfortable working across surgical specialties with varying patient populations and acuity levels. You should be skilled in supporting both traditional and robotic procedures and willing to expand your surgical experience.
