About the Role
Join the Women's Services team in a busy labor and delivery unit. You'll provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, manage postpartum couplet care, and support cesarean deliveries in the OR. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you'll work alongside experienced clinicians and contribute to positive birth outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Circulate for cesarean sections in the OR
- and assess labor patients
- Support postpartum recovery and couplet bonding
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and nursing staff
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum experience in labor and delivery nursing
- Ability to circulate in the OR for cesarean sections
Nice to Have
- Experience with postpartum
Schedule & Expectations
- Rotating weekends and holiday coverage required
- Willingness to float as needed
- Scrubs provided for surgical areas
