Pediatric Emergency Room RN — Freestanding ER | Humble, TX
Shift: Nights, 18:00–06:00
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

This travel RN role is based in a freestanding pediatric emergency room in the Humble, TX area. The unit provides emergency care to pediatric patients across a range of acuity levels, with staffing structured to support flexible, responsive patient assignments.
Clinical Scope & Procedures
- Point-of-care lab testing performed by nursing staff on-site
- Flu, COVID, and strep rapid testing
- IV placement, Foley catheter placement, and EKG interpretation
- Moderate sedation management

- IV skills and EKG competency
- acuity training
Preferred Skills
- ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course)
- CPI certification
Required Certifications
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
Float Requirements
- May float to the main ER or other freestanding emergency room locations in the area
Schedule & Expectations
- Night shift: 18:00–06:00
- Rotating weekends required (up to 4 weekend days per scheduling period — Saturday and Sunday)
Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
