Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract

Fayetteville, GA | Nights | 16 Weeks

This combined adult and pediatric Emergency Department provides high-acuity care across a broad patient population — from infants and adolescents to adults and geriatrics. The unit manages a high daily visit volume with a fast-paced, multi-system care environment supported by an interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, rapid response, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and phlebotomy.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• No call required
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Major holidays (up to 2) expected to be worked if they fall within the assignment period

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks
• Start Date: November 30, 2026
• Maximum RTO: 7 days per contract (all RTO must be finalized at time of submission)
• Local candidates accepted

Required Certifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS

Required Clinical Skills

• Arterial line management and central line care
• Care of ventilated patients; ABG interpretation
• Continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressors
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Multisystem organ dysfunction/failure management
• ; isolation precautions/PPE

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Prior travel experience required
• Georgia RN license or Compact license required at time of submission
• Community hospital experience preferred

Full compliance documentation must be submitted by the Tuesday prior to your start date.
