Emergency Department RN — Night Shift | Fayetteville, GA

16-Week Contract | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3x12-Hour Shifts

This night shift ED travel opportunity serves a combined adult and pediatric emergency department managing a high-volume patient census. The unit cares for patients across all age groups — infants through geriatrics — in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Clinical Scope

• and emergency assessment across the lifespan
• Arterial line management and central line care
• Care of ventilated patients and interpretation of ABGs
• Continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressor management
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Multisystem organ dysfunction/failure management
• Isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, physical therapy, social services, and phlebotomy.

Schedule & Coverage

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No call required
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Holiday coverage expected per standard rotation policy

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ED experience; first-time travelers not accepted
• Prior travel experience required
• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Georgia or Compact RN license required

• All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission (maximum 7 days per contract)
• No RTO permitted during orientation week
• Full compliance documentation due the Tuesday prior to start date
