Night Float Pool RN – 10-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN for a night float pool position. You'll work 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00) and float throughout the hospital based on daily census and operational needs.

Float Assignments

You may be assigned to any of the following units within your scope of practice:

• Emergency Department
• ER Hold
• Medical-Surgical
• Telemetry
• Stepdown/PCU

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Current RN license (Georgia or Compact)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Travel nursing experience required
• ICU or ED experience preferred

Clinical Skills

You should be comfortable with cardiac telemetry, ventilator care, central line management, IV insertion and maintenance, dysrhythmia interpretation, and management of cardiac and vasoactive drips (titration and non-titration). Familiarity with heparin protocols and rapid response procedures is expected.

Schedule & Expectations

• Every-other-weekend coverage required
• No call
• No schedule requests accommodated; scheduling is determined by facility float pool needs
• Holiday work required per facility policy
• Full compliance needed to start on time

Contract Details

• 10-week assignment
• Start: December 7, 2026
• Maximum 7 days RTO pre-approval
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation included

Candidates must complete core compliance items within 48 hours of signing.
