Emergency Department RN — Night Shift | Fayetteville, GA
Contract: 12 weeks | Shift: Nights, 3×12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
This position is in a high-volume, combined adult and pediatric Emergency Department caring for patients across all age groups — infants through geriatrics. The department manages a broad acuity range, with clinical expectations including , arterial line management, ventilated patient care, central line management, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressor administration, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and care of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction.
Schedule & Coverage
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirement
- Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
- Holiday coverage expected per standard rotation
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience; first-time travelers not accepted
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Contract Details
- All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission — no RTO adjustments accepted post-offer or on-site
- Maximum 7 days RTO per contract
- Full compliance documentation due the Tuesday prior to your start date
- Orientation week RTO is not permitted
Interdisciplinary support onsite includes respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and phlebotomy.
