Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join its respiratory care team on a 13-week contract. You'll provide comprehensive evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, working the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine appropriate treatment type and frequency
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on diagnosis
- Perform advanced respiratory care modalities and monitor patient response
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and community resources
- Respond to emergency resuscitation team codes
Requirements
- Current NBRC certification
- Current Oklahoma Respiratory Therapist license
- Willingness to work up to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period and holidays as needed
- Standard onboarding credentials, including background check, vaccinations (MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Influenza, Hepatitis B), TB clearance, fit testing, and drug screening
