Neuro Med/Surg Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Neuro Med/Surg nurse for a 16-week contract on the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), beginning December 14, 2026.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Neuro Med/Surg and Med/Surg Telemetry at a Level 1 Trauma center (non-negotiable)
- AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required at time of submission
- NIHSS certification required prior to start date
- Experience with electronic health records documentation
About the Role
You'll care for acute neurological and post-surgical patients in a high-acuity setting. This role involves managing complex medical and surgical cases, monitoring telemetry, and supporting trauma-related admissions. Your clinical experience in a similar level of care is essential to succeeding in this position.
