Medical/Surgical RN — Stroke & Neuro Designated Unit | Richmond, VA

This is a 13-week day shift contract (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) on a general medical/surgical floor with a dedicated stroke and neuro designation. Guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Unit Overview

The unit manages a general med/surg patient population with a focused emphasis on stroke and neurological cases. Clinicians work alongside a well-staffed team and utilize remote telemetry monitoring as part of routine patient care.

Shift & Scheduling

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification

Dress Code

• Navy scrubs
