Night Shift | 13-Week Contract
This Med-Surg unit carries a focused stroke and neuro designation, caring for a diverse medical-surgical population that includes neurological and stroke patients. The unit is well-staffed on nights with a charge nurse, RNs, a tech, and a unit secretary.

- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract (with potential for extension)
- Start date: November 16, 2026
Clinical Scope
- General medical-surgical care with stroke and neuro specialization
- Remote telemetry monitoring
- Upbeat, team-oriented unit culture with a strong quality and safety record
Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS (required)
- ACLS (preferred)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification (preferred)
- Minimum 1–2 years of Med-Surg or Neuro/Stroke experience recommended
Dress Code
- Navy scrubs
