Trauma Telemetry RN — Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit

Richmond, VA | Night Shift | 13-Week Contract

This night shift travel RN position is on a busy Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit caring for trauma and general med-surg patients. The unit manages a diverse, moderate-to-high acuity population and offers a clinically engaging environment for experienced RNs.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required; no call

Clinical Scope

The unit focuses on complex wound management, blood product administration, pain management, and care of patients requiring tubes and drains — including NG tubes, PEG tubes, feeding tubes, surgical drains, and chest tubes. Telemetry monitoring is central to daily practice.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• Medical/Surgical experience (required)
• Trauma experience (preferred)
• Telemetry experience (preferred)

Float Potential

May float to Med/Surg or Telemetry units (if telemetry-certified).
