Emergency Department RN — Night Shift | Richmond, VA

13-Week Contract | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week

This busy Emergency Department in Richmond, VA is seeking experienced RNs for night shift coverage. The unit manages a high volume of acute and emergent cases across a cardiac-monitored main ED and a dedicated Rapid Treatment Area, supported by a multidisciplinary team of RNs, EDTs, and Medics.

Unit Highlights

• Full-spectrum emergency nursing care across a monitored ED and rapid treatment area
• Collaborative team structure with charge nurse leadership on every shift
• Weekend availability required; no on-call obligations
• No floating required
• Navy scrubs required

Required Certifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS (all required — candidates without these will not be considered)

Preferred Certifications

• TNCC, ENPC

Ideal Candidate

• Demonstrated emergency department experience
• Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in an HCA facility is a plus
