ICU Registered Nurse — Richmond, VA

Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 13-Week Contract

This ICU travel position focuses on high-acuity medical-surgical critical care, managing a complex patient population requiring close monitoring and advanced interventional support.

Clinical Scope & Procedures

• Care of ventilated patients, including assistance with rapid sequence intubation (RSI)
• Titration of sedation, analgesia, and vasoactive cardiac medications
• Assistance with arterial and central line placement
• Slow/continuous dialysis (SLED)
• Participation in rapid response and code blue events

Required Skills & Certifications

• Demonstrated proficiency managing ventilated patients
• Experience titrating sedation, analgesia, and vasoactive drips
• ACLS required; CCRN preferred
• Medical ICU background preferred
• Rapid response/code blue team experience a plus

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Every other weekend required; no on-call
• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: November 16, 2026

Float Requirements

Travel nurses may float to the IMCU, Neuroscience ICU, or Med-Surg units as needed.
