Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) — Telemetry RN
Richmond, VA | Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 13-Week Contract
This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established Clinical Decision Unit dedicated to providing 24/7 telemetry monitoring. The unit focuses on general med/surg telemetry patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and close clinical observation.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 19:00–07:00 (12-hour shifts)
- Every other weekend required
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Clinical Scope
- General med/surg telemetry procedures
- Continuous cardiac monitoring
- Lab draws at bedside
- Bedside shift reports and hourly safety rounding
- Float may be required to similar units or ED for telemetry holds
Required Certifications & Skills
- BLS and ACLS (required)
- Must pass facility telemetry competency test
- Experience with general med/surg telemetry procedures
- Ability to perform lab draws
Dress Code
- Navy blue scrubs

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 9, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
