Telemetry RN – Clinical Decision Unit | Richmond, VA

This is a great opportunity to join a newly established Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) providing 24/7 telemetry monitoring in a fast-paced inpatient setting. The unit focuses on general med/surg telemetry patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and close clinical observation.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Contract duration: 13 weeks | Start date: November 16, 2026

Clinical Scope

• General med/surg telemetry procedures
• Continuous telemetry monitoring
• Lab draws
• Bedside shift reports and hourly safety rounding
• Float to similar units or ED for telemetry holds as needed

Required Certifications & Skills

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS (required)
• Must pass facility telemetry competency test
• Experience with general med/surg telemetry patient population

Dress Code

• Navy blue scrubs
