Night Shift | 13-Week Contract
This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) dedicated to providing 24/7 telemetry monitoring. Located on the first floor adjacent to Same Day Surgery, this unit offers a focused, fast-paced environment for experienced telemetry nurses.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 12-hour shifts | 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Every other weekend required
Unit Overview
The CDU manages general med/surg telemetry patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Nurses may float to similar units or to the ED for telemetry holds as needed. Patient experience expectations include bedside shift reports and hourly safety rounding.
Required Skills & Certifications
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications
- Must pass the facility's telemetry competency test
- General med/surg telemetry procedures
- Lab draw capability
Dress Code
- Navy blue scrubs
