Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced nurse for its Progressive Care Unit. You'll provide direct patient care in a step-down environment, managing patients transitioning from higher acuity settings or those requiring close monitoring and intervention.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hospital nursing experience
• Active Compact License (required at time of submission)
• RN licensure

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Start date: November 30, 2026

What You'll Do

Work alongside a collaborative nursing team providing comprehensive care to PCU patients. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, procedural support, and coordination with interdisciplinary staff. You'll monitor patients closely, respond to changing clinical needs, and communicate effectively with physicians and the care team.
