Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
Join the 6th Floor Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit as a Night Shift RN (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This is a 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Unit Details
Clinical Scope
Common procedures include small incision & drainage, peritoneal dialysis, and occasional thoracentesis. You'll use bedside cardiac monitors, wound vacs, Doppler equipment, and standard vital sign monitoring. Interpreting services are available as needed.
Requirements
- Current BLS & ACLS certification
- Pass the facility's Basic Rhythm competency test
- Medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
- Strong patient focus and communication skills
