Medical-Surgical Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Nurse for its med-surg unit. This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Location: Richmond, VA
Requirements
- Current, active RN license (compact license required at time of submission)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of hospital nursing experience
Clinical Scope
You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced med-surg environment, including:
- Patient assessment and monitoring
- Medication administration and treatment delivery
- Patient and family education
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams
