ICU Travel Nurse | Blacksburg, VA | Night Shift

This 13-week contract places you in an intensive care unit managing high-acuity patients with a low nurse-to-patient ratio, in a close-knit, all-RN environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Estimated start: October 12, 2026

Clinical Scope

The ICU team manages critically ill patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring and life support interventions. Common procedures include central line placement, intubation, and bronchoscopy. You'll work alongside experienced RN staff in a focused critical care setting.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Virginia or compact)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Demonstrated ICU experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge nurse experience

Unit Details

• All-RN staff
• Night shift coverage, with unit policies and expectations discussed during the phone interview

Dress Code

• Professional scrubs; no set color requirement
