Emergency Department RN — Frankfort, KY

13-Week Contract | 11:00–23:00 Shift

This mid-shift Emergency Department position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced ED managing a diverse patient population across a broad range of acuity levels. The unit is staffed around the clock and accredited for chest pain care with primary PCI capability and stroke certification, reflecting a strong commitment to time-sensitive, high-acuity interventions.

Shift & Schedule

• Mid shift: 11:00–23:00
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract (start date: November 2026)

Clinical Scope

• Emergency nursing across medical, trauma, cardiac, and neurological presentations
• Support for chest pain and stroke protocols
• Collaborative team environment with RNs, PCTs, unit clerks, and nursing coordinators

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
