PICU Nurse – 13-Week Contract
The Role
Join a high-acuity pediatric intensive care unit managing critically ill children across multiple specialties including neurology, renal, pulmonary, surgical, and medical cases. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with opportunities to expand your skills across complementary units.
Unit Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs; pediatric print tops permitted
- Float Expectations: You may float to other ICU areas as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years pediatric ICU or specialty nursing experience
- Current BLS and PALS certifications
- Valid nursing license
- Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Start Date: November 29, 2026
Onboarding
Standard health screening, immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap), TB testing, background check, and facility-specific competency assessments are required prior to your first day.
