Pediatric ICU Nurse – 13-Week Contract
The Opportunity
The facility's PICU is a high-acuity, fast-paced unit managing critically ill children with complex medical and surgical diagnoses. You'll care for pediatric patients across multiple specialties including neurology, renal, pulmonary, and post-surgical cases.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Float responsibilities to CVICU and NICU as needed
Unit Details
- Navy scrubs; pediatric print tops permitted
- Dynamic environment requiring strong critical-care skills
Requirements
- Current RN license
- Minimum 2 years PICU or pediatric specialty experience
- BLS and PALS certifications (required)
- Willingness to float to other critical-care units
Onboarding
Standard facility credentialing and competency assessments will be completed upon hire, including specialty exam, core competencies, EKG exam, and required health screenings.
