Surgical Nurse – Operating Room
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced OR nurse for a 26-week contract assignment in a multi-specialty surgical environment. You'll work in a dynamic operating room setting supporting orthopedic, plastic, neuro/spine, robotic-assisted, burn, trauma, and vascular procedures.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM, Monday–Friday
- Call rotation: Weekends
- Holiday assignment: 1 assigned
- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
- Contract duration: 26 weeks
Required Experience & Credentials
- Current RN license (verification required)
- BLS certification (mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience in orthopedic, plastic, neuro/spine, robotic, burn, trauma, and/or vascular surgery
- Ability to function in a high-acuity surgical environment
Onboarding Requirements
You'll need to complete standard health and credentialing requirements, including vaccinations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap), TB screening, background check, and facility-specific assessments prior to your start date.
