Cath Lab RN — Travel Contract | Canton, OH
Shift: Days, 4x10-hour shifts (07:30–18:00)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Start Date: December 4, 2026
About the Role
This Cath Lab travel position supports a busy interventional cardiology program performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Candidates must be comfortable circulating and documenting independently in a fast-paced cath lab environment.
Schedule & Call
- Four 10-hour day shifts per week
- On-call every other weekend (or potentially every third weekend, depending on staffing)
- Approximately 2 on-call days per week when not on weekend call; 1 additional on-call day on weeks with weekend call
- Travelers must work at least every other holiday
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months of permanent Cath Lab experience (circulating and documenting required)
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications — must be in hand, nothing pending
- ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation; two attempts maximum to pass
Additional Requirements
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Background: no open cases accepted; no license hits accepted
- Nurses are currently exempt from nicotine-free requirements
- BCI/FBI fingerprints must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- Travelers may extend up to 18 months; a 6-month break is required thereafter
