Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist — Rochester, NY

4x10 Days | 13-Week Contract

This Cardiac Cath Lab position is based in Rochester, NY and offers a Monday–Friday day schedule (07:00–17:30) with on-call requirements. The lab handles a full range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures across the adult population.

Clinical Scope

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Left and right heart catheterization
• Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) and PTCA
• Cardiac stent placement and implant closure device procedures
• IABP placement and removal
• Rotablator atherectomy
• Scrub and circulator roles; sterile field maintenance
• Recognition and interpretation of life-threatening arrhythmias and dysrhythmias

Schedule & Coverage

• 4x10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday
• On-call requirements included
• Floating required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Active NY state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) preferred; RCIS accepted if ARRT is not held *(note: only one RCIS can be placed at a time due to on-call impact)*
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• Pre-contract modules required (up to 5 billable hours)
