Cardiac Catheterization Lab | Rochester, NY

4x10 Days | 13-Week Contract | Start: December 2026

This Cardiac Cath Lab position focuses on both diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced, procedural environment. The unit manages adult patients across a full spectrum of cardiac conditions requiring advanced catheterization techniques.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 07:00–17:30, with on-call requirements.

Clinical Scope

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
• Left and right heart catheterizations
• Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) and PTCA
• Cardiac stent placement and implant closure devices
• IABP placement and removal
• Rotablator atherectomy
• Scrub and circulator roles; sterile field maintenance
• Recognition and interpretation of life-threatening arrhythmias and dysrhythmias

Required Certifications

• BLS, ACLS
• ARRT (R) preferred; RCIS accepted if ARRT is not held *(note: only one RCIS can be placed at a time due to call coverage impact)*

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Active NY state license required at time of submission
• Charting experience is a hard requirement
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• Floating may be required
• Pre-approved time off limited to 10 days or fewer per contract
• First-time travelers are welcome

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks (91 contract weeks listed)
• COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
• Pre-start modules required; up to 5 hours are billable
