Interventional Radiology Technologist
Position Overview
Join the interventional radiology team at the facility in Atlanta, GA. This 16-week day shift role welcomes experienced technologists and first-time travelers with at least 1 year of clinical experience.
Schedule & Staffing
- Shift: 4×10 hours, days (07:30–18:00)
- Days: Monday–Friday with variable day off
- Call: 1 weekday call per week + rotating weekend call based on staffing needs
- Float: Within scope of practice as needed; will float to Cath and EP labs for required procedures
- RTO: Maximum 7 days per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
Clinical Details
You'll work in a busy interventional radiology suite serving 12–24 patients daily across 3 procedure rooms. The patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with a wide range of diagnoses.
Procedures & Skills
- Angiography (carotid, renal, mesenteric, aortography, pelvic, upper/lower extremity)
- Angioplasty, stent placement, and carotid stenting
- Embolization and radiofrequency ablation
- IVC filter placement, TIPS, thrombolysis/thrombectomy
- Central venous access and port placement
- ERCP, nephrostomy, biliary drainage, and percutaneous biopsies
- Cardiac ablation and hemodynamic monitoring
Requirements
- RN or Compact license (GA preferred at submission)
- ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, ARRT VI
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Full compliance with onboarding requirements prior to start

IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, and Rapid Response available.
