Registered Nurse – OB/GYN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its OB/GYN unit. You will deliver coordinated nursing care to patients according to established standards, supervise assigned nursing staff, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure safe, compassionate care.
Shift & Schedule
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 36 or 48-hour weekly options
- 13-week contract
- Float to partner facilities as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze patient data; develop and implement individualized care plans
- Evaluate patient progress and adapt strategies to meet outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams in a safe, healing environment
- Provide patient and family education
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities
- Perform supervisory duties using critical thinking and professional judgment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Electronic health record experience
