Respiratory Therapist – Neonatal/Pediatric ICU
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Therapeutic Medical Bioengineer (TMB) to join the neonatal and pediatric intensive care unit. You'll provide specialized respiratory support to critically ill infants and children, working as part of a collaborative clinical team.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (nights)
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: December 6, 2026
Required Qualifications
- Current RRT license
- TMB certification
- Neonatal or pediatric ICU experience preferred
- Valid state identification and driver's license
Credentials & Compliance
Standard onboarding requirements include:
- License/credential verification
- Health screening (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap)
- Two-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
- Criminal background check
- Education and employment verification
- Drug screening
- ACLS/PALS certification
What You'll Do
Deliver advanced respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in a high-acuity setting. You'll manage ventilators, conduct assessments, collaborate with physicians and nursing staff, and contribute to evidence-based care protocols.
