ICU Nurse – Critical Care

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced ICU nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work a day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) in a conglomerate critical care unit managing medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients.

Clinical Scope

This role encompasses a broad spectrum of high-acuity cases:

• Cardiac interventions: TAVR, CABG, STEMI, heart failure management
• Stroke care: CVA, TNK administration
• Respiratory: mechanical ventilation, HFNC, respiratory distress, respiratory failure
• Advanced hemodynamic support: IABP, Impella, TTM
• Renal replacement: CRRT
• General critical care: sepsis, DKA, GIB, ia

You'll manage patients requiring vent management and critical monitoring across the full spectrum of ICU acuity.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of critical care nursing experience
• Current RN license (verify through Nursys)
• BLS/ACLS certification
• Ability to float between ICU and Step Down units within the critical care service line
• Pass background check, drug screen, and health history requirements
