ICU Nurse – Critical Care
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced ICU nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in a conglomerate critical care unit managing high-acuity medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients.
Clinical Scope
This role encompasses a broad range of critical care cases including post-operative cardiac patients (TAVR, CABG), stroke (CVA, TNK), GI bleed, DKA, sepsis, respiratory distress and failure, and hemodynamic support. You'll manage ventilators, HFNC, TTM, IABP, Impella, and CRRT. Patient populations include those with STEMI, heart failure, ia, and hypoxic conditions.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years ICU experience
- Current RN license with Nursys verification
- Ability to float between ICU and Step Down units within the critical care service line
- Current ACLS certification
- Willingness to complete required onboarding assessments and health screenings
Contract Details
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week assignment
