This high-acuity Cardiovascular ICU is recognized as a Unit of Distinction, with consistently high standards for clinical quality and patient experience. The unit manages complex cardiac patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring and intervention.

Clinical Scope & Skills Required

• Telemetry monitoring, pressors, and positive inotropes
• Pacemaker management, chest tubes, and pericardial drains
• Cath/EP Lab recovery
• Frequent site assessments and vital sign monitoring
• Advanced procedures: open heart post-operative care, ECMO cannulation
• IABP and Impella device management

Candidate Profile

• Experienced ICU RN required; CVICU background strongly preferred
• Charge nurse experience a plus, especially for night shift
• Active ACLS and BLS required

Schedule & Logistics

• Shift: 07:00–19:00 (3 shifts/week)
• 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Float potential to Medical ICU and floor units
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
