Pediatric Emergency Department – Registered Nurse
Position Overview
The facility seeks a registered nurse for its pediatric emergency department. You'll provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions, working collaboratively with physicians, social workers, child life specialists, and support staff.
Shift & Duration
- Shift: 10:45 AM – 11:15 PM
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Start date: November 29, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
- Assess, monitor, and communicate patient conditions clearly and promptly
- Coordinate care across all disciplines to ensure seamless treatment
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately
- Assess discharge planning needs and coordinate with the healthcare team
- Wear navy blue scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid RN license (verification required)
- Professional references
- Skills checklist completion
- Willingness to complete required onboarding assessments, vaccinations, drug screening, and health clearances (including TB testing, MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hepatitis B, influenza, and fit testing)
