RN Circulator – Operating Room
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN Circulator to join the surgical team. You'll coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process, ensure proper operating room setup, verify patient identity and procedures, maintain a sterile environment, and advocate for patient safety at all times.
Shift & Contract Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- On-call obligations required
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of operating room experience
- Current RN license (Nursys verification required)
- License/certificate verification
Clinical Scope
You'll work in a surgical suite performing a wide range of procedures including general surgery, bariatrics, gynecology, robotics, orthopedics, plastics, urology, and select vascular cases. Responsibilities include preparing the OR with necessary equipment and supplies, monitoring patients during surgery, documenting care, and collaborating closely with the surgical team to ensure efficient, safe procedures.
Onboarding Requirements
Standard facility onboarding includes specialty exam, core competencies, skills checklist, immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap), TB screening (PPD or IGRA), fit testing, drug screen, and background check.
