Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work 4 ten-hour day shifts per week with 40 guaranteed hours, supporting surgical cases in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Requirements
- Current RN license (willing to wait for licensure)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Valid, unexpired driver's license
- Ability to work within a 50-mile radius of the facility
What to Expect
You'll assist with cardiovascular surgical procedures in a dynamic OR setting. Responsibilities include patient positioning, instrument management, specimen handling, and post-operative care coordination. The role demands attention to detail, strong communication with the surgical team, and the ability to respond quickly to patient needs.
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 4 ten-hour day shifts per week
- Guaranteed: 40 hours per week
- Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract allowed
