Stepdown RN – 13-Week Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment. You'll provide care to patients transitioning from acute care, monitoring vital signs, managing medications, and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team. This role offers the potential to float to related units to care for the same patient population, expanding your clinical experience.
Shift & Schedule
- 3x12-hour rotating shifts: Days (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) and Nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
- Shifts may rotate based on operational needs; the facility will make efforts to honor your preference
- You must work at least every other holiday
- Start Date: December 4, 2026
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months permanent RN experience in stepdown or related specialty
- Active Ohio or Compact State RN license (in hand at submission)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (active and in hand)
- Willing to complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation (two attempts maximum to pass)
What to Know
- Background check and fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- Negative drug screen required
- References recommended but not required at submission
- Previous charge experience and charting system experience preferred
