Emergency Department Nurse

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ED environment, managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Clinical Details

You may be asked to float to similar units within the campus or to other locations within Wichita as needed.

Required Credentials & Licenses

• Current RN license (verification required)
• BLS/ACLS or ability to obtain before start date

Ceil blue scrubs

Onboarding Requirements

Standard facility onboarding includes skills validation, EKG competency, EHR training, vaccinations (MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza), TB screening, fit testing, and background check. Two professional references required at submission.
