Night Shift Medical-Surgical RN – Float Pool
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical RN for a night float pool position. You'll provide care across multiple med-surg units, working as part of a collaborative care team focused on delivering high-quality patient outcomes.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 12-hour days, 3 days per week
- Guaranteed 36 hours weekly
- 89-week contract
- No rotating time off (RTO)
Responsibilities
- Float to various medical-surgical areas as patient needs require
- Deliver direct patient care and assessments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support quality outcomes
- Document care thoroughly in the electronic health record
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
- Current RN license (Nursys verification required)
- Current certification card
- Electronic health record experience required
- Complete work history with no gaps greater than 60 days
- References required
- Professional headshot for badge
