Registered Nurse – Med/Surg
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated care on a medical-surgical unit. You will manage patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, supervise assigned nursing staff, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status, analyze clinical data, and identify care priorities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans based on established nursing standards
- Supervise and direct nursing staff; delegate appropriately and coordinate team activities
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support services to optimize patient care
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain clear communication across the care team in a safe, healing environment
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in California
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC provider)
- Current ACLS certification
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- At least 2 years recent acute care experience preferred
Schedule
Nights: 36–48 hours per week
Weekend and on-call availability expected
