Operating Room RN
Position Overview
The facility's operating room is seeking an experienced OR RN to join a high-volume surgical team. You'll work across multiple specialties including vascular, orthopedic, spine, trauma, urology, neurology, podiatry, and robotic surgery in both open and endovascular settings.
Shift & Schedule
- Weekends: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 13-week contract
- No on-call requirement (pickup opportunities available)
Required Experience & Certifications
- Minimum 2 years OR nursing experience
- PA Single State or Compact license (required at submission)
- BLS, NIHSS, and TNCC (or Trauma Course certificate)
- Must have hands-on scrub experience in:
- Vascular (AAA repair, CEA, carotid stenting, AV fistula repair, femoral-popliteal bypass)
- Orthopedic/Podiatry (total joint replacement, arthroscopy, ORIF, spine procedures, ankle fusion, bunionectomy)
- Robotics—specifically urology and general surgery (cystoscopy, prostatectomy, nephrectomy)
- Trauma and neurosurgery
Unit Details
- General OR and Level II Trauma facility
- Hospital-provided scrubs
- No float or call requirements
Pre-Start Requirements
- Complete all compliance (labs, fingerprinting) before start date
- PA fingerprints required and must be submitted within one week of contract signing
- Requested time off must be provided at submission; no changes accepted after
