Emergency Department – Night Shift RN
Shift & Schedule
- Night 4x12-Hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Every other weekend
- No call duty
- Confirm preference for 4x12s or 3x12s at time of submission
- 20-week contract
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
- Current RN license (GA or Compact)
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC
- Telemetry competency exam required
Clinical Scope
Required Skills
- Care of ventilated patients
- Continuous IV sedation monitoring
- Procedural sedation administration
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- and rapid assessment
Support & Resources
Full interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, physical therapy, radiology, and social services.
Important Notes
- Full compliance required to begin on schedule
- Maximum 7 days RTO (finalize at submission; no requests post-offer or during orientation week)
- Holiday work expected (details provided upon offer)
- Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
